Love knitting cables, but not these bigger complicated ones you show. Are they for a scarf, or?

I love knitting cables too! Yes, this is a scarf, but it's a really easy, 12 stitch braid (2 twists in one row, and 1 twist in the other direction four rows later). It just looks impressive because the gauge is large (size 15 needles). The pattern is forthcoming, so stay tuned!
