A while back, I made a trip to Get Stitchin', a fun yarn store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While there, I purchased a few pairs of 16 inch circular needles from Lykke's Driftwood collection. The needles are beautiful and sold at a price comparable to other brands.
This last weekend, I finally got around to using one of the pairs I bought. I'm using my set of size 8 (5mm) needles to make the Able Cable Hat, which is a free pattern on Ravelry, by Kari Steinetz. I'm really enjoying the Driftwood needles. The joins to the cable are solid and very smooth. I also like that the wood is a nice, light color that contrasts well with the black yarn I'm using on the hat. The cable is also very smooth, so my stitches glide very easily. And while the needles aren't so slick that my stitches slide off, the points of the needles are sharp enough for it to be easy to manipulate my stitches.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Lykke Driftwood needles, and I look forward to using them more in the future.
